Estados Unidos realizam operação com drones da CIA em porto venezuelano

O ataque marca uma mudança na estratégia de Washington em relação à Venezuela e aumenta a tensão regional.

Os Estados Unidos realizaram uma operação com drones contra uma instalação portuária na costa da Venezuela, em uma ação que representa o primeiro ataque terrestre conhecido conduzido por Washington dentro do país sul-americano no contexto do combate ao narcotráfico.

O alvo da operação foi um píer localizado em uma área remota do litoral, identificado pelas autoridades norte-americanas como um ponto logístico essencial para o armazenamento e o transporte de drogas por rotas marítimas internacionais. A infraestrutura teria sido utilizada por redes criminosas transnacionais, incluindo o grupo Tren de Aragua, considerado uma das organizações mais violentas e extensas da região.

A ofensiva foi planejada para evitar vítimas humanas. Não havia pessoas no local no momento do impacto, o que permitiu a execução da ação sem mortes registradas, embora com danos significativos à infraestrutura associada a atividades ilícitas.

O presidente dos Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, fez referência pública à operação ao afirmar que forças norte-americanas atingiram uma área portuária utilizada para o envio de drogas. No entanto, ele não forneceu detalhes operacionais nem confirmou oficialmente a participação direta da CIA.

Até o momento, nem a Casa Branca nem a Agência Central de Inteligência divulgaram comunicados oficiais com mais informações. Da mesma forma, o governo venezuelano não reconheceu formalmente o ataque nem apresentou uma versão alternativa dos fatos, mantendo silêncio diante das reportagens internacionais.

Especialistas em segurança e relações internacionais avaliam que a operação representa uma escalada relevante na política dos Estados Unidos em relação à Venezuela. Diferentemente de ações anteriores centradas em interdições marítimas ou sanções econômicas, o uso de drones em território venezuelano introduz novas implicações legais, diplomáticas e estratégicas para a região.

A ação faz parte de um esforço mais amplo de Washington para desarticular redes de narcotráfico que, segundo autoridades norte-americanas, operam com altos níveis de impunidade. Ao mesmo tempo, o episódio reacende o debate sobre soberania, limites do uso da força e os efeitos dessas operações sobre a estabilidade regional.
