Estado de Emergência e Reforço do Controle em Caracas Após a Captura de Nicolás Maduro

Presença de segurança e restrições à imprensa após a operação dos Estados Unidos

O centro de Caracas e várias áreas estratégicas registraram um aumento visível da presença de forças de segurança e de grupos armados alinhados ao chavismo após a captura de Nicolás Maduro por forças dos Estados Unidos, um acontecimento que alterou de forma abrupta o equilíbrio político e institucional do país.

Segundo fontes internacionais confirmadas, o governo venezuelano decretou um estado de emergência nas horas seguintes à operação, concedendo poderes ampliados às forças de segurança para manter a ordem pública e perseguir pessoas acusadas de apoiar o que as autoridades classificam como uma ação estrangeira hostil.

Nesse contexto, meios de comunicação internacionais documentaram a presença ativa de forças de segurança do Estado e de coletivos pró-governo nas ruas de Caracas, com patrulhamentos visíveis, homens armados e a instalação de pontos de controle temporários em diferentes áreas da cidade. Essas ações concentraram-se especialmente em zonas consideradas politicamente e estrategicamente sensíveis.

Também foi confirmado que as autoridades inspecionaram telefones celulares de cidadãos em determinadas operações, prática relatada como parte das medidas de segurança e identificação adotadas após a captura. A situação também afetou diretamente o exercício do jornalismo.
